When I turn on the ign. the gage needle shoots up to full and when I turn it off the gage shows between 1/4 and 1/2 full which is about the amt. in the tank. The wiring is right at the sending unit -- a ground and wire to the fuse box and then to the dash gage. Cant tell if it is wired right at the back of gage -- chances are it is. Does this indicate a problem with the gage itself? :confused:
