I am currently helping restore a 1945 Chevrolet firetruck that was donated back to our department. When we got it, there was a pair of modern outside rearview mirrors on it - left and right. We have an old picture of the truck and there appears to be a different outside mirror on the truck when it was new. There are currently 2 holes at the top of the driver's door that I believe the mirror mounted to. I also believe this was an optional mirror - 2 arms in sort of a wishbone shape with a round mirror head. We want to obtain a mirror of this type to put back on the truck. Can anyone out there help out with info on how to find one?
