Truck is a '54 1/2ton, stock drive train and suspension.
I've seen all the under the bed applications from supplliers like Brothers and LMC with fillers in the bed floor, but my customer is looking for something different. Showed me a pic of a truck with the filler neck out the side of the bed in front of the back fender.
I was looking on the Jim Carter site for a gas tank for my personal '54 panel truck when it dawned on me that the filler neck might be in about the right place for what my customer wants. Anyone ever done this, or done it with some other tank from a different vehicle?
