The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Making a Stovebolt Bed 3100 Rear Sill #2 ?

For what ever reason(over tightening?) both rear sill mounting boxes(?) are caved in. See pics.

Oddly an equal amount. I am thinking of going through the slotted upper opening with a square bar to try and force them to level with a hammer. I'd like to do it cold rather than heating the plates to red. I am not a body man. Any other suggestions that are better than my idea?
