The whole worn spindle problem is accelerated by failure of frequently lubing them up. It would probably be a good idea to loctite the bushing to the spindle hole even if it fits tight. Then if someone neglects to keep it lubed, the wear will occur where it belongs, on the inside of the bushing where it meets the kingpin.
