If you took out the engine and put it back in yourself,
then take the metal pieces from the oil to a transmission shop along with the truck.
Tell them to take it for test ride.
If the same guy that rebuilt the engine,
took it out and put it back in, then take the truck back to him.
Tell him to take it for test ride.
I think they metal pieces are a little large and could be a beginning of a failure in the tranny.
Especially the elongated pieces
