For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 59 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2013 Posts: 59 | I have a 1965 GMC 3/4 ton long bed. I am putting new wheel cylinder, spring kit and shoes I went to NAPA to get the parts they had no parts listed for GMC but they did have parts listed for 1956 Chev. 3/4 ton which I bought when I got the parts every thing matched and went together without any problem except Now the brake drum will not go on the it seams to be about 1/16" to small to fit over the shoes. I have said all the good words I know but it didn't help. Can anyone give me thought about how to fix
