For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 581 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 581 | I had to replace my old simple Schumacher last year. All I could find at the stores are now "microprocessor controlled" or "automatic". You can not use them for electrolysis or anything else that is not a battery. They aren't cheap anymore either. I looked around and found that you could still get a basic Schumacher charger with a nice metal case at Tractor Supply. They were on sale so I bought two fearing they are being discontinued. Otherwise I use an inexpensive maintainer by Black and Decker that is both 12/6 volt.
