Removing the windshield, is best achieved, as referenced above.
The '64-'66 Chevy/GMC truck windshields, with the stainless steel trim, is a bit challenging, but not too tough, with the right approach. Put the stainless in the rubber, put the rubber on the windshield & put the assembly in the hole.
