There IS more bump steer, but also It just doesn't feel like the suspension moves upward when I hit a small, square bump (like a step). A good expample is a Manhole cover. When I hit a big expansion joint where an over pass joins the street, I feel the suspension go through the stroke. That bump is shaped more like a "V."
