As you probably know,
1947-1950 are different from 1951-1957 (and, I'd guess through 1959). However, they are all the same length and have the same number of splines. Go back a page in the book and find a different length 47-50 1/2 ton rear axle?
Maybe someone knows the answer.
Are there stamped numbers on your axle?
