| | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 3,596 | SAE viscosity (resistance to flow) is a reference for temperature. 10 happens to be -4deg to 50 deg. The W on some labelng is for winter service for a particular viscosity (tested). You should be fine using SAE 20 you are looking for oil that will flow so the bigger the number the slower the flow. Basically all motor oils are a base and then additive packages are selected for particular applications. You could spend years studying this and the science of oil blends. Find some 20 that is what I used. | | |
