never heard of anyone asking about BTU for a truck or car air conditioner...........I had vintage in mine, love it..

what do you have for a budget...and are you installing it yourself..

your other questions are pretty well what ever one wants,
cool, not run hot, etc.........pretty obvious it needs to be well insulated, and your engine needs to be in really good shape and
you might need an electric fan..
