There was a early 90's 1 ton 4x4 running around here with a 35 hicab on it and flatbed. Front tires were way to wide / big and looked goofy with the 35 fenders which are basically identical to the 36. If you do a frame swap, try a few different sets of tires set at the right width and see how it strikes you.
If your scrapping any part of your dash, let me know, I am sqirreling away parts for a 36 burb body that I have stored away. Engine and tranny would be cool too!
