A later 3/4T or 1T frame would be perfect, I've seen that done, but I know it was a lot of work. Some really nice COE's up here (custom ones, GL would hate them). Slammed to the ground, paint etc, but used later stuff. Steve do you read Classic Trucks Mag? 2 issues ago there was a feature on a '56 F*** COE that was redone real nice, if you haven't seen it; he used a 86 F--- 1T frame, and most of the stuff off that truck. Your truck is a normal truck right, not a COE?
