Several things led me to the conclusion that it is a 2-ton.
1) The axle gearing, which is 6.17:1. Lighter trucks had 5.43:1 and higher (numerically lower) gear ratios.
2) The fish-plates rivited to the sides of the frame rails for stiffening.
3) The prop shaft parking brake.
4) The missing chassis tag I found under the fuel tank inside the cab. LOL
