Thanks a lot everyone for the complements! I had plenty of people looking at me like I was crazy when I first drug it home! I even asked myself several times while crawling around in the slush and snow and rain and mud for 2 years "what in the world are you even gonna do with a 2-ton farm truck IF you get it done?". I still don't really have a "purpose" for it yet. At least my wife decided "that old truck" really didn't turn out too bad and that she could actually allow herself to be SEEN IN PUBLIC riding around in it! Though she's still not a fan of the 2-ton ride quality.
I've decided one thing I'd like to do now is find an old 2 or 3-bottom 3-point Ferguson plow, blast and paint it MF red and grey and semi-permanatly chain it on the bed. A vintage MF tractor up there would look great but they don't give those away and I really don't need to get an extra 4500 lbs stopped at a cruise-in.
