My 13 year old son and I moved the bed on my '53 GMC and I removed a long wheel base bed ('58) by myself the other day by lifting the rear of the bed alone and slipping a 8 foot 2x4 under it and pushing it the rest of the way off. Both of these beds had no wood left in the floor. They are cumbersome, but not too bad heavy. A couple of grown men could wrestle one off easy, it was tough with my 13 year old when we got to lifting it over the wheels, he struggled hard.
