I'm pretty sure it is the right cushion and the correct support for the truck. My '54 3800 (comm.,util) radiator support has a single mounting point in the center with two bolts. All the aftermarket parts catalogs list a two pad system with shims as correct for '54 (possibly correct for some models but not all). I have found most parts suppliers are not always correct so you need to research and verify.
