My "new" '39 truck hasn't been driven in years. I found the battery and it turns out it's a 12 volt, but the starter, coil, and generator seem stock. The generator is a Delco Remy 948R. The coil has no markings but sure looks original, as does the horn. The starter is a Delco 1107009 which I also understand is the original. There are no lights anywhere to check those.
So, surely someone just dropped this 12 volt battery in randomly wouldn't you say? It wasn't even hooked up.
Somewhat unrelated, but I can't find my ground strap anywhere. Where does it mount?
