The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Engine Shop 1950 Chevy Starter Question: no. of teeth on gear?

Thanks guys. If the gear diameter is different, I suppose I can just engage the bendix without the battery hooked up and see if the teeth mesh with the flywheel.
I ought to be able to see an 1/8" misalignment, even with my old eyes.
