Where under the bed did GM have the tanks you are referring to? Were they at the rear of the bed? I'm just curious, as it seems a tank at the rear of the bed could be disastrous (think Pinto) in a rear end collision. I know some are mounted underneath but towards the middle of the truck which seems more protected (as does in the cab).
