Your fuel gauge is good.
Make sure the wire from your gauge to the sender is good - run a new wire, if you are not sure.
Try to run a ground wire from the chassis to one of the screws that holds the sender to your gas tank. If that does not solve the problem, your sender is most likely the problem.
