I had my Rochester 1BL Carb rebuilt by a local carb shop which specializes in Rochester carbs. They charged me $45.00 to overhaul it and it looks and works like new. No LEAKS at all!! They told me the leaks are caused by warping of the cast aluminum. They have a process of correcting the problem so they do not leak.
