I'm doing this swap now and picked up a T-5 on ebay with mech speedometer (1352-145) for $400 shipped.
Think theres one in the classifieds on the hamb now..
so far I've got the adaptor plate in behind my 216, an 11" clutch from rockauto, and trimmed the bearing retainer and input shaft. clutch fits good with good clearance...
next is final install and get the driveshaft shortened.
Then on to a solution for mounting the e-brake lever...
