I am contemplating removing the axles but I have another question. Are there seals on these axles that might need replaced? I worry because when I took it apart, the paint around the outside of one hub was bubbled and really wet. When cleaning, I think its just brake fluid, but the inside of the hub had a more gear oil look to it.
