I have a question about front fenders. I have a 56 GMC a fella is working on for me and had bought Dynacorn 1957 front fenders for it. I was always under the impression that 55-57 fenders and doors were the same. actually dynacorn's doors are 55-59. we worked on mounting the fenders last week but had trouble having a match at the door upper part in the curve between the door and fender, and also the reveal seems too low on both sides. the cowl fit isn't bad and the door gaps are reasonable. the fella from dynacorn says the 55-56 fenders are a different curve on the top of them along with the "line" above the fender is more prominent...(reveal?) I don't know what to think, the truck has their doors on also. I tried to find nice original ones but nothing local here. just wondered if any of you guys had any experience with this and why that company makes one door and 2 different fenders (55-56 and 57)..are GMC fenders the same as a chevy? thanks
