Achipmonk, this was definitely a work truck for a farmer or town at some point. Had I known you were nearby I'd a told you to stop in and talk trucks for a while.
BC52, when measuring to the back of the brake backing plate, which is mounted to the axle, the passenger side is 1/2" further out from the frame then the driver side.
I'm just gonna leave it as is and look for any unusual tire wear in the future. It don't bother me as long as it drives in a fairly straight line!
