Ok. I have a 1961 C60 with the 261 engine. I pulled the intake and ex manifolds to replace gaskets. Well the exhaust manifold was warped and cracked. Found some used Fentons to install. My question is about the pins at the front and rear of cylinder head, should I pull them and prep the holes for studs so I get better clamping power? Or is this advised against. This is my first Inline engine and it looks to me that a fastener at the ends would help. I also want to install studs in the head as opposed to bolts when I install my manifolds. I am getting read to order a Clifford Intake as well.
