Ed It's not me I have an issue with getting it off. Its the truck.
The next guy who has to take it off isn't going to be happy. (He'd be even more [censored] at having to remove tar though)
IF you could paint over it I'd be easier on it... but it needs a special prep for 'smooth' metal an extra coat of something else to make it paintable. Its never sandable you can't feather it and it costs more than epoxy primer...
Works GREAT on RUST!!! OK for frames I guess, (if they're rusty) but I'm doing a restoration not encapsulation...
