I got some of the universal blocks and that solved half the problem. One of them sealed up but the other one is leaking at all three joints. I tightened up the tube nuts some more but that didn't help. The double flares I made on the ends of the brake lines must be ruined from all the loosening and tightening I've been doing.
Do you think it would help if I made some new lines out of the rigid brake tubing that comes straight in set lengths rather than the more malleable tubing that comes in coils like I'm having trouble with?
