Is there anyone that sells reproductions of the original brass brake line division blocks, specifically the ones for the front half of a 1941 truck? Jim Carter sells the ones for the back of the truck but not the front.
The only ones I've been able to find are the universal ones at the parts stores that don't have any holes or anything in them to mount them with.
My new brake lines won't seal because it appears that these parts are worn out. In some of the holes you can't even tell there was an inverted flare: it's flat where the flare of the tubing is supposed to seat against. Now I've probably messed up my new brake lines by tightening them down so much it's ruined the flares on the ends. And the high dollar silicone brake fluid I got is just running out all over the floor.
This old truck is getting to be a PITA to restore because this sort of problem keeps happening over and over. It just never ends!
