Hey there, 'bolters!
I was out playing with the electrical whosits on the truck last night (instead of taking apart the carburetor and figuring out was was wrong with it).
I've got the horn rewired and I turned my attention to the Turn Signal Arm. It was manufactured by a company called Parker Products out of Minneapolis. It's a Model 2500.
On the switch, there're four contacts that go out to the engine compartment. I assume that this is so that we have one going to each rear blinker, and one going to each front blinker.
The only thing is, once they get to the engine compartment, two are spliced into BOTH the front and rear left blinkers, and two are spliced into BOTH the front and rear right blinkers.
Knowing the PO (My Grandpa) as well as I do, This doesn't surprise me.
Is there any particular reason that I would need to put it back this way? Should I put it back this way?
I'd appreciate any insight you may have on this.
