This is my
1954 GMC 1954 GMC with a 1950 Chevy front clip
I saw the GMC sitting in a pasture near a house while driving to work. It turned out that this pickup had been a donor truck for a high school automotive shop. I bought the pickup and brought it home nearly three years ago. I found a front clip for it, though it wasn't a 1954, nor a GMC. I think it looks pretty good however, as a 54-50.
Since I brought it home I have re-wired it and ran a new exhaust. It had pin holes in the gas tank so I repaired them. The master cylinder and brake lines had water in them so I completely went through them.
The rear end that was on it was off a a car I think. I swapped it out with a 1970 Chevy six lug rear end.
The gauges were all missing as well as all of the switches. I have replaced most of those now. I almost have a complete truck.
