I change my oil at least once a year. I use the truck no more than 200 miles per year. Just didn't seem necessary to change it more often.
My engine has an oil filter, but I never dropped the pan when I first got it some 4 or 5 years ago.
So, what everyone is saying is to drop the pan and clean it out first. Should I be concerned that the pump is failing?
