The rest of the problem is probably in the rear lights. I always get some 4 strand trailer wire & rewire all the way back. You may have to put ground wires on the lights & ground them to the frame. Also its a good idea to put a ground wire from the bed to the frame. They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though.
