| | | | Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 354 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 354 | I ordered a glass from Jim Carter recently. The background was a brown similar to the gauge faces. I repainted mine semi-gloss black. It shows up the numbers better than the brown and I think it looks better. If I had it to do over I'd paint the gauge faces black, the decals don't really have much on them since the numbers are on the glass.
