i haul stone and coal in mine and sometimes mulch. with mulch and coal i fill it to the top of the side boards. with coal the top of the boards is 3 tons. stone on the other hand, i cant fill it all the way with stone because it would exceed my 16000 gvw. due to the hills i have to pull, i load it with no more than 4 tons. the last mile is anywhere from 1 low to 2 hi and pretty wound out.
the time stamp is 2008 and one of the first loads i hauled with it when i got it on the road legally. ive hauled with it since then. i work it moderately in the spring and fall and give it the summer off. its also my go to truck if my daily driver is not available
