truckernix 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 Bracebridge Ontario Canada	I am wondering if the transmission is putting extra stress on the crankshaft due to a balance problem or worn bushings. This may be a real problem at 3500 RPM. The extra lateral movement is damaging the seal and that is why it only lasts several hundred miles. 1951 GMC 1 Ton Flatbed -- It is finally on the road and what a great time I have driving it! 1951 1 Ton Completed My Chevy Master 4 Door is on the Road!
