It made a MAJOR difference on my '62. I had the 230 and it ran hot, but it got Really Hot after I dropped in the 327. I kept my eyes open and found an original fan shroud on eBay for $25.00.
Some elbow grease and a little paint later and it bolted right in. Now the temp gauge needle sits right in the middle of the gauge. Makes me a happy camper.
