I looked at the points closely, and don't find any indication of them sticking. everything inside of the regulator looked like it was brand new.
As I stated earlier though, I'm not entirely sure I even know what I'm looking at.
Let me pose another question, if you don't mind???
If the battery took a sudden turn south, would I have the same result, i.e. a charging system that was trying to charge a battery that wouldn't accept it?
