Ok have the rear out of my 60 parts Burb. It has a round cover and the nose is removable from the driveshaft side. BUTTTT it has riveted on backing plates! If i drill/cut the rivets can I use my restored bolt on backing plates and axle retainers? This rear appears to be a 3:23 or so. I really would like to use my old backing plates and axles due to the fact EVERYTHING is new and or powder coated. The rear is the same width between backing plates.
