The minus side of the coil is the tachometer connection as well in case you want to monitor your rpm. I would be concerned with two things on a 261.. the oil pressure and making sure oil is getting properly up to the rockers, and water temperature since you want to ensure the steam holes properly lined up. Good luck! I just did this very same thing last week!
