If you want to know about change to ring & pinion gears in a 47-54 3100 torque-tube rear-end, the only conversion that is available is a 3.55 R&P set.
The standard ratio for a 1954 was 3.9 and will fit right in.
It is not a huge improvement over the 4.11 but can be a little help.
