Keep an eye on local classifieds for parts for 1955 and up chevs or pontiacs. You want to grab a 12 volt generator, voltage regulator, coil , resistor (if you see one on the firewall), and horn relay. Don't convert just for the wiper motor though. Some guys have said thier electric one has 2 speeds; too fast and way too fast. Don't count out the vacumm wiper without taking it apart and smearing vaseline on the guts and trying it again. A new harness is pretty easy as most kits have the wires numbered and pictures where they go. If the rest of your wiring is not too bad go buy a cheap trailer wiring harness and just re-do the wiring from the cab to the rear lamps.
