I used the painless 18 circuit universal non GM column kit. Very high quality and very pleased with it. I got the deluxe in case I decided to add the bling later. On my 47 jeep, it had no wiring to speak of. That time I just laid out the wires and did it myself. Other than one or two bonehead mistakes, it works very well, but it has nothing on it. Lights, horn, engine stuff. Not even turn signals.
Because it was so simple, some surplus wire, and some crimp connectors got the job did. I bet I don't have $30 in that job. (on the jeep)
