I have a dynasty 200DX at home and another at work, they are fantastic machines!
Good point about the capability on heavy aluminum, I've tried and failed to weld 1/2" thick if the part has any size/mass to it, just can't get enough heat in it. For 1/4" and less it works great.
The stick welding function is also really nice and works very easy.
