Seems most guys in our position end up drilling out the stud balls on the pitman and steering arms and using modern tie-rod ends. I actually lucked out and found a very good original drag link in the box of parts I got with the truck. Had to literally cut the old one off (everything rusted into one piece) but the replacement snapped right on with no issues. If I still don't like the steering feel I'll probably go the tie-rod end route.
