The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area The Electrical Bay Tachometer - Now With Updatey Goodness

This is probably a stupid question, but I am still kind of a noob when it comes to ignition stuff.

I have a standard points distributor running on 6 volts. Can I use a normal, everyday off-the-shelf tach, or do I need to find a mechanical unit to drop in somewhere (distributor?)

Any advice would be appreciated.
