#94310 01/18/2006 8:44 PM | Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 297 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 297 | about 4 years ago i converted my 1954 chevy pu to 12v w/a one wire alternator which is now connected to the batt post on the regulator. everything works fine but i have been told i can remove my voltage regulator completely. there are two red wires on the batt post now not counting my alt.wire and one small blue wire on the last post on the right (can't remember what it says). i assume i can simply connect all the red wires together but what about the blue one? will my amp gauge etc still work?
